Sotomayor’s hearings.

What a week! I LOVE watching history – especially Women’s history. Watching Sonia -the third woman on the Supreme Court, who comes after Ruth Ginsberg and of course the first – Sandra Day O’Connor who after law school couldn’t get a job in a law firm but WAS offered a job as a legal secretary – I found myself crying in the kitchen. Not that it’s HARD to make me cry – but still. And she’s a New Yorker – like me so – ya know. Susan B. Anthony got arrested for voting in 1872 – forty eight years before women could even vote. She voted for Grant when Victoria Woodhull was running – the first woman to run for president.
